Demon Slayer Season 2: The first season of the hit anime Demon Slayer ended on September 28, 2019, and fans are looking forward to the second season. Here is everything we know.

‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ Is a highly popular anime series based on the manga series of the same name. The anime series received critical acclaim for its animations and fight sequences. Will the demon slayer have a second season?

The fans eagerly await the Demon Slayer’s return. There is currently no official announcement about the second season by Ufotable (studio and producer). A follow up film Monster Slayer: Mugen Train Released on October 16, 2020 and will be the highest-grossing film of all time in Japan.

Hence, What are the chances of the demon slayer returning with season 2? Well, it is almost certain that season 2 of Monster Slayer will return. The second season begins where the film ends.

The continuity of an anime series depends on factors such as the source material, its popularity. In the case of demon murderers, there is no shortage of source material. Of the 21 versions, only 6 were used to adapt the first season of the anime. So we have 15 sections to accommodate.

The storyline for season 2 continues from the upcoming film, which is a continuation of season 1. So to understand the full plot, you need to watch both the film and the first season.

The plot of the first season revolves around the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado, whose entire family, except his sister, is killed by a demon. Her sister transforms into a demon, but retains human qualities and feelings. Tanjiro then sets out on a long journey to avenge his family’s death. He comes into the society calling himself the Demon Slayer Corps.

Monster Slayer anime series streaming and broadcast partners

The first season in Japan aired on Tokyo MX, GTV, GYT, BS11 and other channels from April 6 to September 28, 2019. The dubbed version in English premiered in 2019 due to its widespread appeal. Major anime websites such as Crunchyroll, Hulu, Funimation, Animelab, and Anime Limited have simulcasts of Daemon Slayer in various countries.
